The September 2007 monthly meeting of TC Web Pros will be held on Tuesday, September 18th, 2007 from 11:30 am to 1:00 p.m. Networking time is from 11:00 am to 11:30 a.m. for those who can make it a little early.

Our Member Spotlight: Duane Coleman / Competitive Assessments

Duane Coleman is a strategic marketing professional with over 10 years of corporate marketing experience with Fortune 200 companies, such as GE Capital, etc.. He then left the corporate world and has been consulting for over four years.

Duane Coleman is the founder of DLC&A (D.L. Coleman & Associates, Inc.) internet marketing consulting firm which focuses on search engine marketing and internet marketing strategy, with an emphasis on return on investment and website analytics.

Duane will provide an overview of the competitive assessment process that he utilizes in determining if he should pursue working with potential clients or if he should pass.

The assessment includes a review of the prospect's website and some of the internet marketing strategies utilized by a potential client. He will also review the website and strategies of two to three competitors and others in their market space. Most clients find the assessment to beneficial as it provides real information that they were not aware of. It also provides a benchmark for tracking future performance.
